Jason Statham and filmmaker Guy Ritchie are teaming up once again, this time for a new Netflix feature titled Dogfight. Statham is attached to lead the project, while Ritchie will take on writing, directing, and producing duties.

Production is expected to get underway in early 2027, with filming scheduled to take place in the United Kingdom. The movie is being developed by Black Bear, Toff Guy Films, and Punch Palace. Ritchie will produce alongside Statham, Ivan Atkinson, and John Friedberg.

Described as a stylish revenge-driven action thriller, Dogfight will explore the criminal underworld of London. Specific story details and character information have not yet been revealed.

The project marks another chapter in the long-running creative partnership between Statham and Ritchie. The two have collaborated on six previous films, including the crime classics Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Their upcoming collaboration, Viva La Madness, is also among the projects bringing the pair back together.

Based on J.J. Connolly’s novel of the same name, Viva La Madness features an ensemble cast that includes Vinnie Jones, Jason Isaacs, Babs Olusanmokun, Camila Mendes, Ben Foster, Jonny Lee Miller, and Raúl Alejandro, who will make his feature-film debut.

Connolly and Ritchie co-wrote the screenplay for the adaptation. The project was developed by Statham’s Punch Palace Productions and Thomas Benski’s Lumina Studios, with Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson, and John Friedberg also serving as producers. Black Bear will handle domestic distribution, while Amazon MGM Studios is overseeing distribution across most international markets.

With Dogfight, Statham and Ritchie are returning to the crime-action territory that helped establish their successful partnership. The upcoming Netflix production will be their seventh feature together, although further details regarding its cast, release date, and storyline remain under wraps.
